We offer sustainable appliance, furniture, and other junk removal services for homes and businesses throughout Idaho. What's more, our trained professionals work day in and day out to donate your unwanted items to local charities and nonprofits. Items that we are unable to donate or recycle are otherwise ethically disposed of, so that they don't wind up in a local landfill.

About Our Owner

Our Owner: Mike Schumacher

Mike Schumacher was born and raised in Grangeville, Idaho. He attended Montana Tech and played college football for five years. After graduating with a business degree, Mike moved to Seattle, Washington, which is where he began his career in the third party logistics industry. He married his wife, Janae, and after five years in Seattle, they moved to central Washington as Mike accepted a promotion. They spent three years in Yakima, Washington, prior to relocating to the Treasure Valley area in 2001, when Mike was afforded the opportunity to open a branch location for his employer.

In his free time, Mike loves spending time with family, attending his kids' sporting events, hiking, fishing, camping, and traveling. He has been married to Janae for the past 23 years, and they have two boys, Derek and Drew, who are 15 and 17, respectively.

Mike has observed that The Treasure Valley is growing rapidly, and he values access to the local rivers, lakes, and mountains. The Junkluggers is committed to keeping places like these clean so that future generations will be able to share in our enjoyment of these spaces. Mike selected The Junkluggers because it was different from other companies in that it aims to keep unwanted items out of landfills, and to help find useful purposes for these items that clients no longer need.
